Mr. Jake Lisak is a graduate of Bethel Park High School and current undergraduate Percussion Performance major in the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University. His teachers include Ed Stephan (San Fransico Symphony), Chris Allen (Pittsburgh Symphony), and John Soroka (Pittsburgh Symphony).

At Duquesne University, Mr. Lisak regularly performs with the Duquesne Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, and Chamber Orchestra as the Principal Timpanist. Outside of school, he has performed in a variety of musicals fulfilling the roles of drumset and percussion in titles such as Clue, Curtains, Shrek, and West Side Story while also teaching privately.

While at Bethel Park, Mr. Lisak performed with the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Side-by-Side, and several Pennsylvania Music Educators Association festivals, where in his junior year he was named principal percussionist of the PMEA All-State Orchestra. Mr. Lisak was selected to perform as a soloist in the Duquesne University Honors Recital and also won two best-soloist awards from Disney for his performances with Bethel Park’s Jazz Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. Additionally, Mr. Lisak was Bethel Park’s Drum Captain in his senior year.
